Meet our caring, professional staff

Program Director

Hi my name is Cherie, I joined Cambridge in 2016.    I worked in a group home with mentally challenged adults, when I was 19 and learned how rewarding the field was. When I moved to Branson I married and had two children.  I started work at Skaggs Hospital and was with them for 16 years before I came to Cambridge.   Here's what one of our participants wrote about me: "She always has time to smile, laugh and cut up a little with the us. She really does care about everyone here at Cambridge and she makes a tremendous effort to ensure that everyone is following the State rules and regulations as well as the policies, which are implemented by Cambridge itself. Cambridge was recently inspected by the state and after a lengthy inspection Cambridge passed with a very high rating. Cherie works very hard to ensure that all the things are done right here at Cambridge and it is through her efforts we have such a nice place to attend because it is made to feel like a home away from home and family is always here waiting". Cambridge is the most rewarding job I have ever had; helping people is what we do best.

Therapy Dog

WOOF! My name is Jazzie and I'm the Cambridge therapy dog. I love meeting new people, getting belly rubs and snuggling. I hope you'll stop by to play some day soon!

Kitchen Manager/Chef

Hi, my name is Christy, I am a lifelong resident of Branson.  I graduated from Branson High School.  After graduation, I attended College of the Ozarks, I then went on to earn my LPN license from Gibson Technical School.  I worked for several years in a local nursing home before leaving to take care of my father.  I joined Cambridge in 2015.

Activities Coordinator

Hi, my name is Amanda and I started during the spring of 2019 as Activities Coordinator at Cambridge. The adults who attend Cambridge have a variety of abilities, so we spend lots of time and effort trying to accommodate everyone's individual needs so they all feel special and loved. We play table games, do crafts, exercise and go on field trips. One of our participants even wrote this about me! "Although Amanda is only 23 she brings a vibrant energy to the job and is enthusiastic. She was recently married and has a delightful baby girl who also brings a smile when she visits. Amanda works well with all the clients and really does try and make each and everyday a special event. We here at Cambridge would like to extend our thanks and love to our latest family member."

My name is Shawn and I have been with Cambridge since August 2017. Originally from South Arkansas, my husband of 30 years, and three young children moved to Branson in 2008 to begin a new journey. I have been involved in the medical field since age 16, and have worked in psych, pediatrics, OB/women's health, transitional care, family practice, cardiology, and long term care. Spending quality time with others and building relationships is of great importance to me. At Cambridge, we are family and this is home.

I like to fish, hunt, work on cars and craft projects. I like the country life, raising my granddaughter. I've worked at Cambridge for almost two years, and enjoy being able to help people who need it. This is a great job with a terrific crew. I consider it a privilege to work with them everyday.
