How Cambridge improves safety and peace of mind

Whether your differently-abled loved one is living alone, or with you, stress and anxiety about their safety can start to take its toll. Your loved one cherishes his or her independence, yet you know they need help. Seeking support and maintaining your own health are key to managing your role as a caregiver, and Cambridge Adult Day Center can help you do that, and help your loved one safely maintain his or her independence!

Cambridge provides:

▪Social activities. Planned activities are tailored to the participants’ abilities and health conditions, but usually include such things as arts and crafts, musical entertainment and sing-a-longs, mental stimulation games such as bingo, stretching or other gentle exercise, discussion groups (for books, films, or current events, for example), holiday and birthday celebrations, and local outings.

▪Nutrition. Cambridge provides two nutritious meals, including those that accommodate special diets, along with snacks.

▪Personal care. Center staff can help with the activities of daily living such as grooming, toilet hygiene, walking, and feeding.

▪Health services. These may vary from medication dispensing and blood pressure monitoring, to more specialized services for participants with medical conditions.

Whether your loved one has Dementia or a developmental disability, at Cambridge Adult Day Center their safety – and your peace of mind - is our number one priority.
